Wayra is coming to Oldham

You may have hear that Wayra is coming to Oldham, Wayra are part of Telefonica, better known in the UK as 02. They will be moving into the former Wahoo building along with Hack Oldham, the community maker space I established last year.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of speaking at the pre-launch event held at Oldham college, the aim of the event was to educate Oldham’s business leaders about Wayra and their upcoming call for candidates. We also had the opportunity to talk about Hack Oldham and how it and Wayra fit into the wider eco system which we hope to create in the independent quarter, and hopeful further afield.

It was great to see over 100 local business leaders in attendance, hopefully this is a sign of things to come.

    Thanks Andy for sharing,

    These are great National news!

I am also keen to support local Entrepreneurs and Innovators, is there anything I could do to help you and Wayra over at Oldham?

    Feel free to contact me.
