Why you need https (a green padlock)

Posted on July 25, 2018 | http://p0wel.ly/ssl

Hi, You are probably here because I have told you that you need https (The little green padlock) on your website, Traditionally it was just something we expected on banking or eCommerce but these days there is not really any excuse, It protects you, your customers, the internet, helps with your SEO, gives your visitors confidence and most imporatant its FREE!

Anyway Troy Hunt explains why you need it far better than I can.

So what do you do now? well you have a few options.

1. You can talk to your web host, but as a word of caution many will try to charge you for this, and its questionable if there is actually any extra value in paid SSL certificates. Scott Helm has a good blog post on this one.

2. You can head over to httpsiseasy.com and do it yourself, it really is quite easy.

3. You can get someone like me to do it for you, feel free to get in touch and I’ll try to point you in the right direction.

However you decide to do it, just make sure you do 🙂
