I’ve recently been asked to help a baker produce some chocolate molds ready for halloween. The idea is to produce “Chocolate Bombs” basically a chocolate that you put in hot milk and it will melt producing a hot chocolate.
She had already found a design she liked on thingiverse, a website full of downloadable 3d designs, so once we had a 3d model it was just a case of slicing it up.
To do this I used Tinkercad, breaking the model in to front and back and mounting them on a plate ready for 3d printing.
The 3d printed model was then given to someone else who created the vaccume formed mold.
Having been sent a photo of the first attempt it seems to have worked quite well, I’m looking forward to tasting the final product.
